Latest Firmware is 1.8.0  I bought a new battery and it had to be upgraded.

I think ive only updated the firmware onentime since ive bought it december 1 2016.  Never had an issue withnit until this last go update.

I would do a firmware upgrade as there are important changes that have been addressed.

So starting up, i turn on the controller, craft, then open wifi and connect to the craft, then open the app.

When the app opens, it is constantly switching between a pic of the mavic and phantom 3 standard enter camera section.  It brought up the inspire one time and it actually created a flight log.

I have to time the switching to be able to enter the p3s camera.  When i enter, the camera is either very bad laggy or not on at all.

In the upper middle section where it usually says warming up, it has been saying weak transmission signal, disconnected, or weak controller signal.

I also am not getting my maps.  I have tried with and without airplane mode and i have cleared my apps cache.  I have tried to reconnect the controller and all the lights work appropriately.

If you have the latest version of the Go app and you and the connection to even get into camera view is difficult, it could be a problem with the built in WiFi module. If you havan't already, I would try the following to absolutely rule it out:

- Completely 'forget' the P3S' WiFi from your device's list and then refresh the connection
- Try a different mobile device.

If the issue persists, I would recommend sending the unit in for service. If you just got the aircraft from a dealer, you may want to look into getting an exchange.

I think ive discovered the problem.  I had DJI Gonfor my phantom and DJI Go 4 for my mavic on the same phone.

I put DJI Go on my sons phone and it works perfectly.
