Had my first crash today, 2 actually.  Seems like the camera/gimbal is all sorts of out of whack so I'm going to send it to a repair shop.

My question is if the repair shop says it's best to just buy a new bird and I decide to do that can I use my old controller w/ the new drone?  I have the argtek extender on my current set up as well as the Inspire tablet holder and really don't want to do all that again.

Go to a repair shop, do not use DJI Support, they are horrible, and make sure the repair shop is "DJI Approved."

Yes. Anytime you use your current RC with another AC you will have to re-link the RC to the AC the first time. Once the two are paired they will auto connect.
