I heard about nvidia shield k1, but i dont see it in the recommended list. i can't not afford an expensive tablet, any suggestions

I suggest to look at the Huawei Mediapad x2 or try to find the Honor x2(both the same).
Will fit your remote controller perfectly, you can search this forum or just google it in combinations with the Mavic.
About 200$ is what is costs.
