This is a brand new in box Phantom 3 Professional I'm having issues with.
I knew I was going to need updates out of the box since it was purchased in 2015 but not opened/flown until now.  I had zero problems updating the RC to version 1.3.2 and then using the DJI Go app (DJI Go Version 3.1.5) to update the RC further to version 1.8.0
The issue is with the drone's firmware. I do not know what version it had initially, but I went to upgrade straight to the newest version 1.10.90 using the micro SD card in the drone per the DJI firmware update instrucations on the site/youtube. I got the appropriate D-D-D-D tones, but then eventually got the dreaded long D____ tone. To which I then powered down the drone and tried again. It started up again and this time went through the whole process faster but with the same end result.
I then found that unfortunately with this firmware update you cannot downgrade. I only found that out after trying to install 4 other versions of the P3P firmware with no success on various micro SD cards and everything.
After scouring online I can see nothing to fix this.  So, I'm coming here and praying there is a solution and that I haven't somehow managed to screw up my new drone.

Here's what I have observed so far:

The firmware shows as current and updated in the DJI Go app. You can see this in the images at the end of this post.
The RC and the drone appear connected. I think they are connected because I have a green light on the RC and I can move the camera gimble, arm/initiate the motors, etc. The only thing I don't have is camera transmission signal to my iphone 6.
Stranger, the text file says the update failed but in the DJI Go app it says I'm current.

I'm quite confused and would be happy for any assistance.

You noticed the issue after a firmware update, right?
May I know you update it through APP or Assistant 2?

1. Enable Viewing hidden files in your OS. Below are the websites where you can check how to show the hidden files in your PC.

Natalia, yesterday, my P3 Pro show the same problem. Between a takeoff and another, in the middle of the afternoon, the video signal stopped working. 
 And my P3 Pro have 2 weeks of life

Hi, OP, I'm sorry to say that you need to send it back.  The firmware upgrade stuck in the middle and there's nothing you can do to it.

I initially used the APP to do the updates. But since then have tried the Assistant 2 with no luck.

Have you tried to reset it or downgrade firmware?
Would you mind trying other mobile devices to connect the aircraft to see the performance?

Sorry to hear about the issue, it's never hard landing, right? How about the firmware version?
Please try to restart the devices.
You used the original SD card, right?

I spoke to the support and after several attempts to do something, I had to send my drone to the DJI in Carson (Case Number: CAS-472815-T3C2Y4). Now I'm terrified that I'm leaving Canada on March 18th and I'm praying that they will return the drone with the problem solved before this date. If this does not happen I will have lost time and money.

Absolutely nothing? What the heck? I followed the procedure as it was listed perfectly. How do I know if it's covered? I literally opened the box and did the update the same day. I haven't even had this drone of the ground yet besides picking it up
I owned a P3S and felt very comfortable going through the process. How do you know it got stuck in the middle of the process? I'm assuming it's the internal SD card that is going to have to be messed with to fix it based on what you're saying. Is that correct?

According to the upgrading log, two modules failed to be upgraded, it needs to be sent in and our engineers will help you evaluate it then get it fixed.
If it's product faulty and within the warranty, it will be covered by warranty.

Hi again. I shipped the drone out April 1 and per the "must be received in 30 days" comment I point to in the attached image, it felt like I should check in here. Considering I'm located in California I'm pretty sure DJI has had my drone for at least a week and it should be unpacked and examined. I don't see it showing as received or in process though. I thought it was a little odd the serial number, courier and tracking number weren't listed here as well. Is everything ok? Is there something more I need to do?
