Made the first test flight today with my new Phantom 4 Pro (coming from a Phantom 4) and the .SRT file is not generated on the SD card (the video caption option is of course correctly set).
Anyone else with the same problem ?

Are you looking at the video on your computer, from the sd card, or on your device?

This is not a device  problem and I never look at the videos on the tablet : I always transfer the SD card files on my NAS for review and I use VLC to view the video with the .SRT subtitle files.
But there is no SRT files on the SD card with my P4P

Thanks for the answers. Caption is now embedded in the video file. As my first flight was recorded in h.265 and VLC not being able to handle such files correctly I was not able to see the caption (and the transcoded h.264 version is generated without it).

Hello Ulysse, thanks for your post! One question, if I record in 4K 30fps should the caption be embedded as well?

Problem solved. Now using PotPlayer and it's working like a charm!
