I've been travelling the past few weeks and had the chance to test out two bags from ATOMIK RC, thought I would share my thoughts for those interested.

Bag #1: UNIVERSAL DRONE BAG by Atomik RC
Bag #2: P4 BAG by Atomik RC


The universal bag #1 is my favourite - I'd say it's pretty spot on for size with any regular bagpack. This makes it much easier to travel (less funny looks and people staring, and fits very nicely under the seat of any commercial aircraft. It comes with velcro pads for DIY compartments (shape the inside of your bag as you like). The P4 slides in and out perfectly and has got a good thick layer of padding both on the back and front of the bag.

The P4 specific bag however is massive! It's a tank. The padding is awesome, and protection is fantastic, but convenience wise it's horrible. It does not fit under the seat of a commercial aircraft and must be placed in the overhead compartment. You get a ton of weird looks walking around with it as well - sketchy looking bag lol.

For anyone looking for a good mix of protection and convenience, the Atomik RC Universal is very decently priced ($69.99) and your best bet if convenience is what you're looking for.

I should also mention, the UNIVERSAL BAG comes with an "elastic"  waterproofing cover that you can throw over the bag when it's raining out.

Is there space to put my 10 inch tablet?

Yep, with a bit of configuration you can definitely fit it. Inside the main pouch or even in the front pocket.

Here's a photo with my iPad 10".

Of course a bit more fiddling because you've got less room to work with. But that doesn't bother me given the convenience factor. This bag is awesome.
