I have a Phantom 2 Vision which i intend to sell but not quite sure what to do. It has a Rotorpixel gimble attached and the quandry is, do i split them returning the Phantom back to stock or just sell has a package?

First of all, be prepared to be disappointed -- older Phantoms are not worth what you might think (even if you've added lots of bells, whistles and flashing light improvements)  If it were me I would probably go to ebay and do a search for completed auctions on the individual items to get an estimate of what they are selling for and then do another search for the combo to see what those are going for.  That would give you a ballpark figure of what price to ask.

Personally, I would keep the P2V because it's has more value to you than any money you might get - as you might need it some day to do a search for your lost P4P or Inspire...
