I've just finished my new video with shots from Norway with my P4P.
I was lucky and had beautiful weather and nice scenery, and im quite happy with both the editing and the footage. Probably my best work so far.   Please let me know what you think.
But to build from here, to make drone footage more interesting, what elements or shots do you feel make a drone video interesting?
Im going on a trip soon to the mountains and would love some new ideas to implement in a new movie.

You got some amazing footage there and very well put togeather..........nice ;-)

Great job, spectacular I love the reflections in the still water, that piece from 1.55 to 2.05 is very dramatic I love it , it's one of those you could only get with a drone.

Thanks! Yeah I was very lucky with the weather that day, totally still water and blue skies You view the world with new eyes when you have a drone ;)

I was waiting for the white walkers to come across the lake when you filmed the sunset.

http://www.luftfartstilsynet.no/caa_no/Regulations_concerning_aircraft_without_a_pilot_on_board_etc here is the regulations. You are pretty much free to fly as long as you follow them. 150 meters from buildings, persons and such without any permits.

Thank you! To answer your question what the captions mean. It is the location where I shot the footage. The place and the municipality. I understand that it would be confusing being in a different language

Nydelig Austevik! Ser posten er en måned gammel men følte for litt kommentering

Disse bildene er helt nydelige (spesielt 2:10 og den slowmoen fra elva!).

Du spør etter noen råd til en eventuell neste film: Foreslår det som mangler i nesten alle dronefilmer: Azimuth shots, det skaper et helt annet perspektiv en de vanlige pan-up/dwn manøvrene "alle" bruker(du har forøvrig brukt landskapet utrolig bra med de manøvrene). Regner med du har sett filmene fra kjerag, trolltunga etc? Gjentagende kameraføring gjør selv det mest spektakulære landskap litt kjedelig... (smak og behag). Det vanskelige er å få "roterende" bilder stabile og jevne, noe som krever litt tweaking i gain menyen og en del trening; resultatet er overraskende givende.

Håper på å se mer fra deg!

En bevegelse jeg liker godt er å gå fra ned til opp i gimbal bevegelse mens en senker og flytter seg fra objektivet. Får en fin dybde i bildet.

Håper du kan svare angående Azimuth.

Du har helt rett, Azimuth er et "annet ord" for rotering om akse, hvordan du vil implementere dette i kombinasjon med andre manøvrer står bare på fantasi!

Bevegelsen du nevner (som du forøvrig og brukte i videoen over er toppers!) kan feks kombineres med en azimuth (selv om det i det tilfellet du hadde over, faktisk passte best uten).

Andre teknikker som fungerer bra for å få variasjon (igjen, variasjon av kameraføring er mangelvare i de fleste dronefilmer) er å flytte fokus fra nært til distansert som du gjør ved klippet med etne, kjempegreier!.

For å oppsummere, når du føler du behersker en kombinasjon av azimuth, tilt av kamera og elevasjon av drone på en gang, da har du bare fantasien å jobbe med

Ellers synes jeg du mestrer kameraføring ut i fra hvilket landskap du har å jobbe med på en kjempegod måte, filmen er noe av det bedre jeg har sett faktisk!

Nei ikke noen ny denne uken, bare så stor andel som sliter med mindre bugs..!
