Since you have two, I'm assuming you have a P3A or better.  And so those would be 2.4 antennas.

I was looking at that style antenna for my 5.8 but the beamwidth kinda worries me.  10-12 degrees.  What is the beamwidth on those?

Are you saying this beats the Argtek in distance?  What kind of distance are you getting?

I have the new DJI "Yoofoo" drone. It's hard to spot, because it's usually so far off and it eludes those that try to spot it. It's usually only seen by drunks in remote areas. Here's a grainy pic:



Psst. It's not actually my setup. I found the pic in a drone group. There's about 1200USD worth of gear in the pic. I don't know whose it is.

Well, the 5.8 I found was only around $50.

Steve that is you only.  If you halved your stock range then your Argtek was either faulty or not installed properly, my guess is the second one.

You doubled your standard range with the DBS I have four times plus over my standards range and I could have gone even farther just decided not to.

Sorry, but that's a little hard to believe.

If you're serious about range, I suggest you study what the world class distance guys are using for antennas.
