Great job! That moose at the end -- the train seemed to drop its headlights and then bring them back up after passing the moose, do you think was intentional, a way to signal, or at least, not hypnotize the beastie?

Dropping the light was surely intentional. Headlights make wildlife 'freeze'.
At least this is what they tell us in Germany at driving school... ;-)

Nice job! I'd laugh if the same conductor was on each train and wondered why a drone was flying around like a "black helicopter".

Nice job and thank you for sharing.

I have only one train shot so far... it is not easy to be in the air and ready to catch the train going by LOL

Yeah, tell me about it. I have had it go by while I was changing my batteries. Seems to never go by when I am ready for it.

I believe the train turned off its light so the moose would not be blinded and stop on tracks

You are right, this is about 4 separate days. More footage to come as long as weather is decent.

Very nice !
Are there a lot of trains there or did the moose chose like that precise moment with the only train of the day to cross ?

They do the same thing with cars....totaled my car twice in the last 20 years, near misses countless times.
