Hello,

How savvy is the P 4 at navigating volatile weather conditions?  Rain, extreme heat, snow, cold, high winds, etc.

Firstly rain is out.  The drones have a range of about -10c to 40c.  High winds it can handle but maybe you cannot.
These shots taken at 3100m and temp where drone was not including wind chill factor was below zero. Phantom 3 Standard.

These drones are robust and can take a lot of crap.  However there is always a risk in flying though thick fog that your motherboard which is inside the case could get wet.

The Phantom 4 isn't really weather proof to that extreme. I could maybe handle light-mild conditions that can spring up at any moment (fog, light snow etc.), but like in post #3, the wind current from the propellers will not completely protect the aircraft.

Akarrick99,  I would agree with @blackcrusader.  I've read a few of your posts and the Matrice 200 is your best option.  We really are not sure what your final outcome is or what your ultimately trying to do but all of your questions really is leading to the 200.  Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

Can't believe how filthy your atmosphere must be where you fly.
Is that really just from flying in some fog?

No that was from landing when some muck was blown about. However the drone was wet from the fog so the crud stuck
