First time that I shot with with DJI Phantom 3 Pro in low light ...

Not the easiest to balance the setting in order to keep a continuous lighting between all the scenes ...

Pretty challenging but it was interesting to do such a project ...

I used two locations (one being the Shanghai Expo Park and the other the Nanpu Bridge) on two different days and hopefully the sky was fairly the same during both ...

Next project will be to shot in full darkness and see what I can get out of it ...

Please watch in full HD, making the visual aspect better because of the low light, revealing more details ...

Concerning the software, i just used iMovie, pretty basic but does the job I have to do for the time being ... Nevertheless, I am thinking of investing and upgrading into some video editing programs in order to get better results ... Still not sure yet which one ... Any tips?

The synchronisation between the music and the video, yep, spent a lot of time doing that to find the right pace ...

Just with iMovie? Apparenlty i don't use it enough to exploit 100% of its capacities

Yep, just iMovie ...

Not getting into any very complicated post-production stuff so it is enough for now ...

Pity you can't edit out the pollution.  

The lighting and color really do create a neat mood. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't find any "filter" in iMovie to do so ...

Maybe some local video editing program has such options ;-)

Took me some time to find the proper music that would fit such footage ...

At the beginning, I didn't fly to get any for editing afterwards ...

But while watching what I had got, ideas just came in ...

The speed change was a great idea, it took the film to a whole new level. I understand that you have spent a long time matching it with the music. I also used iMovie before but I recently bought Final Cut Pro X. It is more complicated but when you learn how to use it, it offers more options and feels smoother. It is very expensive however, so i would recommend to stay with iMovie if you are uncertain about whether to upgrade or not.

Not sure indeed what to do for the time being ...

Time doing wasn't lost, sometimes you need to learn the tough way to make it easier afterwards ...

Guess the sign then upgrading will be when I won't be able to make a idea become real in iMovie ...

I'll check on your videos to see what can be done with Final Cut ...

Yes, thats my opinion regarding when to upgrade. Since I am pretty new to Final Cut, you won't see all what it can do in my Youtube videos. If you want to learn more you can watch some Final Cut tutorials.

I'll continue on iMovie for the moment and when I can't make some gizmos, i'll look into Final Cut ...
