Hello people,

So after reading for a while a I finally decided to tinker with my phantom 3 4k camera settings in order to improve the footage obtained.

I did got a couple of clips in a open field nearby in a single flight and edited them in Adobe Premiere as a test. The result follows below.

I'd like to have your opinion on the quality of the images.

I do know the result would be better with ND filters but for now I have none. For now.

PS: posted this on pro/adv forum as 4k camera is the same as pro.

Cheers.

It would be good to also see a clip from the original footage to compare the clip

Pink / purple tinge to the clouds, looks odd.

I can post the original clips on monday for comparison. There isn't much to compare though, they're flat.

True, I didn't notice it previously thanks. I should have balanced the whites in Fast Color Corrector in the clouds I guess.

I get it quite a lot in my videos and always forget to correct it. I'm still learning about the whole WB thing, never seems to work as I expect. Tried taking a white bit of card with me and setting it just before take off, didn't seem to help.

Best way is to set the WB to a custom setting like say start at 5600k , as when its in AUTO mode it has a tendancy to shift colour randomly on its own.

I use Filmora to edit my videos. It takes just minutes to come up with a $3000.00 commercial.

Great, something else I need to remember before I go buzzing off. I do love Auto settings, but finding their limitations now. There's always something new to learn with these things

I'll take your word for it, but I've seen your vids and to be honest I'm not that impressed. $3000 for just minutes, thats getting on for $40000 per hour. You must be the highest paid drone pilot in the country.

Take it while you can I guess
