Does anyone think these can be modified to fit on a P3 ? I do like the idea for flying indoors or near people / pets. The standard prop guards just don't do it for me.

Have you seen the price of those babies £163, I almost had a cardiac arrest

You'd also need shorter props.

It also seems tailored for the Mavic arms, so I don't think it would be possible to modify these for the Phanton 3 arm.

EDIT:- I wonder if that would be a task for a 3D printer, start knocking out cages for the P3s & 4s...

"I do like the idea for flying indoors or near people / pets" Don't take this wrong, but this sounds the the complete opposite of how I think, and what the Phantom was design for.

So you think flying near people or pets WITHOUT a prop cage is good idea, very foolish.

The phantom was designed as a flying camera, that's what I would use it for.

HOW MUCH !!!!!! {:4_157:}

For that price I would want 10 hamsters providing extra power to the motors

No, I think flying near people or pets (indoors) even with prop guards or a cage is foolish. I think you very well knew what I was getting at. This drones are not light, they could hurt someone on impact even with prop protection. If you want to take a pic or video of your family or pet indoors, what's wrong with a camera, the kind you hold? If you want aerials of them outdoors (no walls or ceiling) that's totally different.

This is a public forum and as long as I'm on subject (which I am) and don't use profanity, which you just did by using a abbreviation, I can reply to any thread I please. Wait for the day you hit one of your kids or spouse ( heaven forbid) in the head with a Phantom hot dogging it in the living room and I bet that will be the last of that.

And if you had taken the time to ask instead of just judging you'd know

1. Indoors - it's a 250,000 sqft warehouse, told them with out a prop cage I'm not doing it
2. Pets - asked to film a trail hound race and get quite close - told them not without a prop cage
3. Near people - asked to film a charity run and get close - told them not without a prop cage.

So don't come here and start judging others with your own delusional rubbish you make up in your own mind.

Thanks Joe, but you missed a few off topic posts. You could delete this whole topic if you want.

Looking forward to a cleaner forum with a stop to the topic hijacking by the usual suspects
