Cool. What's the hood made from?

Doesn't it get in the way of the sticks, someone tried similar but they made it out of the envelope the manual comes in. I tried it and it annoyed me because it just got in the way. I bought this.  It works perfectly, has a cut out for your thumbs to get to the sticks.

I use that Screen ON app by Chethan Dandgey . Can put brightness all the way up on your phone and let's you return to a custom

it doesnt get into the way at all
cutting a hole for tumb will just let in light to the monitor

I just ordered one of these for my IPhone.
Looks almost the same as the DIY on this thread.  

I don't think I could DIY it for  much cheaper, taking to account my time involved.
