Why doesn't DJI implement a Timelapse mode to their gimbal's like Freefly systems??

The Assistant 2 app was developed more as a tool to improve the performance of the gimbal and not necessarily as a control mechanism. It is a suggestion, though, that will be provided to the proper team to review.

There is a panorama feature in the DJI Assistant app where you can shoot in intervals. Haven't you tried that for shooting timelapse? What exactly are you trying to achieve?

I mean so you can program a route for the gimbal to do over a period of time fixed on a tripod.
