I had used the DJI assistant to load and updated my Mavic dorne.

Then when I about to fly, my phone dji go requested that FW is not uodated.

So my phone download and updated the drone OR THE RC this time?

Pls clarify.

Probably the remote controller as you said

When you use the DJI Assistant 2, you need to remember that there are two firmware components -> (1) aircraft and (2) remote controller. So you must connect each individually to the usb connection to the computer to update both.

With the Mavic, the firmware is actually copied down and stored to both the RC and the aircraft, so if you have multiple batteries, you may also be prompted to update each battery as the system recognizes that they too need updates..

As the prior post stated, it was probably the RC firmware since you only connected the aircraft to the computer.
