At season start I did some tests regarding behaviour of MP when tracking motorcycles. Most of the footage was unusable since DJI GO 4 crashed again and again on both my Xperia Z Ultra and Note 4.

While with my car tracking was quite okay it is not with motorcycles. Maybe due to the high wind today most tracking-features (tracking, profile, spotlight) did not work as expected since MP lost me always after a few seconds.

I will do further tests on a day without wind and hopefully a version of DJI GO 4 that works ..........................

Tracking has always worked great for me on my IOS devices.

So it´s another feature of DJI GO 4 not working properly on Androids ?

With my car and DJI GO 3 I did not have the tracking-problems as I have now with GO 4 ........................

I've tested my NVIDIA Shield K1 and it's working fine.

So, how do YOU define "working fine" ?

Of course my MP tracks me, but only for a very short time and at very slow speeds and it loses me very quickly. Tracking response is very slow and starts delayed even if I start to move in the style of a snail ............

So, if this is "fine" for You, it definitely is NOT fine for me ....................

I have no tracking issues with the Shield.

Can you be more specific about how well it works?  I have been trying to use Activetrack with my Polaris and the MP is too slow.  To use "Follow Me" it has to be at least 10m high.  This will be a problem for me as it will hit trees.  I want it about 2-3m high only so it will track me through a winding road that is treed either side.

It will not track at that low of an altitude.

OK - and if I go above trees it can't get a good picture of the motorbike, so usually fails pretty quickly.

My opinion so far of the modes like active track etc is that they are pretty useless.  I have tried tracking bulldozers which move quite slowly and even that fails 50% of the time.

Something is not right then, I've tracked cars going down the street and as soon as I hit go the Mavic takes off but and tracks it just fine.
If you can get a video of the monitor of it losing track even on a slow bulldozer that would be great.
