Hi ,

I have purchased for my P3S a set of 10dBi 5.8GHz Omni WiFi Signal Range Extender Antenna Kit .
I ordered it from amazon.ca since I live in Canada.

The Kit had included in it ;
2.4GHz~2.591GHz 7dBi panels & 1 10dBi 5.8GHz omni antenna & 1 6 dBi 5.8GHz panel antenna with stand.


But the name on it was GIVE ME FIVE , not ARGTEK !


I also noticed a www.gm5.com.tw  noted on it so I googled it and when I did the web site for ARGTEK came up ???


Does anyone know if GIVE ME FIVE is the same as ARGTEK and for some reason markets it on the Amazon.ca differently.


I hope its the same product

It links to to the Argtek website.  It could just be an offshoot for the DJI Phantom products and it's also a Taiwan URL.

Post some photos.  By the way, when you take the upper case off, remove the three power lines. This prevents you burning out your transmitters when the antenna wires are disconnected.

There is a 2 pin, a 3 pin, and a 4 pin, so sort of hard to screw up and put them back on the wrong connectors.

Mine is the same. Works perfectly though...very pleased with it.

Give me 5= ARGtek.

Argtek put up my 3930m distance flight on their you tube channel. Total mileage on that flight was 9.14km

Surely the 2.4 wifi don't reach out that far so what range are you getting on that M8? I mean how far does the video or FPV work? I've tried a parabolic just testing you know taking baby steps one at a time but next is a Argtek. Have to wait a little while longer

Yes I have full video on my smartphone the whole trip.

Hey Wayoutwoodpond, are your antennas the "GIVE ME 5" brand ?

In addition I will be going with the 5.8G but instead of the (2)  7dbi, will be going with (2) 2.4GHz, 10dBi Wifi Booster Antennas, as done by Tom's Tech Time ... has anyone tried the 10dBi attached to their ARGTEK (GIVE ME 5) ?   How did you do in distance ?

Yup only we just get the 10DBi Omni Antenna.

I've not had the weather for any decent flights yet but a couple of tests and the improvement is already noticeable.

My drone has been leaving trails behind on recent adventures to max distance.

I have it. I am outside of Halifax. it works great and I think its identical to the Argtek unit. I had mine out to almost 3 kms over the bay the week before the new law came into effect. you will like the better omnidirectional signal but you may want to join a group to scream at the Gov't after paying for a range extender we cant use now.

Your right, but just wondering if the new law is applicable to native reservations? I have one close and maybe can work a deal with the band

Have u used the 5.8G, with the 10dbi to get that range, if not have u used them together yet?
