Hey guys my drone was working fine until i updated my phantom 3 pro and remote.

The picture comes on when im litterally 5 ft from it. Any further and i lose signal - any clue whats going on here? very frustating as  i have a few shoots coming this weekend.

Do you have HDMI module? It is reported to cause some problems. You can also try to downgrade your remote controller. Power on RC, connect it to your mobile device, in DJI GO app press small icon on top right for few seconds/or so long that downgrade menu pop-ups. Then select later RC version and start downgrading, it can take 15 minutes.

Try the following button combinations to see if it helps:

Reset the RC of presets:
* Turn on the controller, and the aircraft should be off.
* Press C1, C2, and shutter on the controller then turn the controller off.
* Turn on both the aircraft and the controller and link the remote.

Manually relink the RC:
* Turn on both the aircraft and the controller.
* Press C1, C2, and the record button on the controller, then the controller will beep like D-DD.
*While keeping them pressed, press the wheel on the right side of the controller (ISO) and then the first light of the controller will become blue and it will constantly beep DDDD.
* Use a pen to click the linking button on the aircraft and hold for 3-5 seconds, and then take the pen off the aircraft and wait, it will be linked soon.

Worse case, try downgrading the RC to see if there is any change.
