Anyone use vr goggles other than DJI ones.  good quality ones that don't cost a arm and a leg

The DJI goggles are yet to be relaeased. I have seen a few guys take cheap VR headsets that use your phone and use them to fly with.

These are supposed to work pretty well, but at $700-$800 (USD) maybe they're also the ones you already knew about when you asked for something that's not overly pricey. If they are within your price range, though, you can google them to find reviews from people who've used them. Here are a couple of threads on the DJI forums:

Hinting to late April - early May.  Possibly the 8-9th of May.  There's an event where DJI could release them.

Hopefully they are actually released vs. BS marketing.  Either way, they'll probably be tough to get & even tougher to get a replacement, since that's inevitable.

How do you like that setup? have you tried other goggles with your Shield or other tablet as well? Just wondering.
