I had a great flight this morning and thought I'd share a photo.  It's a little scary to fly over water but all went well and the P4P did great!

Otherwise, flying over water is OK, but you should keep LOS if it's likely to go less than 10m above the water - I believe that's when VPS kicks in and the craft may tend to drift down if it can't determine where the surface is.

That lighthouse is in Jupiter, FL, about 30 minutes from my home.  I was very careful over the water. I flew well over 10 meters staying on the safe side.

Lake Jindabyne in NSW, Australia - gateway to the Snowy Mountains and popular ski fields (in Winter). That day I did quite a lot of flying over water around the small islands there. Better photos, but I used that one to show that I'd actually flown some part of it reasonably close to the water. I didn't experience any issues that day, apart from noting a hot battery.
