The UK could well follow Canada shortly. I think there are lots of drone haters in that country as well as daredevils, some of whom may be terrorists in disguise.

There are flyers who do not voluntarily log their flights. I think this should be made mandatory as a drone is technically an aircraft and with the number of miscreants around, its just a matter of time before some real harm will take place.

What is DJI's position on this?

Dont need this for sure , although the quad would have caused little to no damage  to the air Ambulance it is just another black eye for the RC community. Why do some RC pilots gravitate towards full scale aircraft, it is so stupid .
