I emailed support and they claimed that they sent a quote yet nothing is in my email or spam filters nor has the status been updated. I'm using refresh.

I believe there are many factors that can change the time.  Here a just a couple
-Employee calls in sick.
-Amount of damage. (something inside can be damaged or fried)
-Amount of repairs in shop.
-Various other options.

Although they did say 1 Business day, I would send an email to request an update on the 2nd or 3rd day after.

I got a Quotation for repair today but just opted to have it replaced as I think this may be quicker than waiting for a repair but hope I am correct and paid with Paypal for the Care refresh.
Does anyone know how long it takes to get the replacement from point of payment?

Mine took several days to conduct damage assessment. It took the most days checking the mavic into the system. All told it took 36 days from the day I shipped it, to receiving the mavic (it's supposed to be delivered today). Here's to hoping it comes back fixed! I am hearing horror stories of mavics being returned in worse condition.

Only places I see DJI actually making progress is on the payment steps where they are really quick to accept money.

6 days in the repair status. Just being repaired, not in the substeps of #2 flight test or #3 QA inspection.  Yeah I know busy with lots of repairs, if that doesn't tell you something about the mavic...

Holy cow they finally updated my case to being replaced. So 11 days on the dock,  8 days for damage assessment, and 10 days for under repair to be changed to replacement.

I was informed via the repair status that my drone was being replaced not repaired. On top of that I'm given this weak excuse about moving facility through the BBB complaint against DJI for how my case was handled. Funny how no support people here was aware of this move causing delays.

This is my first DJI product. I'm a RC hobbiest. I build FPV quads, wings, etc. Had to send my Mavic back because it can't with a defective gimbal. DJI is trying so hard to make this my last DJI purchase. I'm trying, in really trying to give the "consumer drone" thing a go just because I see it as a natural progression into the bushes side of RC for me. On a more humorous note, appearently "find my drone" feature in the new app works when it's in the repair facility!!!

Yea guess you want me to make a new post for every issue. Only thing I am doing here is keeping others up to date on my repair process in ONE thread. This is what I would have liked to seen had there been enough purchasers prior to me.

You can thank me later for keeping it together.

OKay I receive notification with a UPS tracking number that my drone is pending shipping as the tracking number isn't valid 2 days later.  My mavic SN changed so I'm understanding it was replaced but the batteries that I sent in with it did not change, to include one of the batteries was destroyed when the drone fell into the river. Also there is a duplicate SN for 2 batteries. I'll check those upon arrival. I did mark the bad battery before I sent it in so I expect it to have been replaced and not updated on the SN listing.

Another update - DJI is one of those companies that likes to create shipping labels and wait a few days before actually shipping your drone back. My tracking number JUST came up on UPS as being created today a full 2 days after DJI said it was shipped. Now this is suppose to be 2nd day air according to their representative on my BBB complaint.



I knew they was full of cr@p with 2 day shipping. Also why is it coming from CA when it was sent all the way back to China for repairs? Can't they do repairs here in the USA?
