Mässkär is an island situated near the town Jakobstad in Finland. On Mässkär there is a café, a nature trail and many summer houses. There is a former station for harbor pilots and coast guards on the island. Nowadays this building is used for café, restaurant and accommodation services. The ship you can see in the end of the video is a Dutch cargo ship named Lady Clarissa. It is on it´s way to the paper factory in Jakobstad. Please ignore the text if you don´t speak Swedish. The film was filmed 11.3.2017 with a DJI Phantom 3 Professional.

Thanks for your comment Matt-and-Riley! I don´t live on the island Mässkär but I think that about 1-2 ships a day visit the harbor in Jakobstad and they pass by the island.

Just by curiosity, what was the temperature when you flew and how long did your batteries last ?

Thanks! I think that it was about -2 °C (28°F) when i filmed this video. The first battery lasted 18 minutes and the second one 16 minutes. There were around 15% battery left when i had landed the Phantom. I have never flown when the temperature has been more than a few degrees below zero. Better safe than sorry.
