I have an iPad mini 3 that I'm using with my RC for my I1.  I put my mini in an otter box defender case the day I bought it.  The device holder on the RC is not deep enough to hold it as securely as I'd like.  It holds it, just not as well as id like it too.  Would like to see a holder with deeper jaws for those of us that use a case on our devices. Just my 2 cents.

I have an iPad mini 3 and use it with a Tech21 case.  The jaws on the controller still seem to grip it enough, no problems experienced so far.

Already spent $60 on this one lol... Plus I love the OtterBox.  Just thought an optional mount would be nice.  Maybe I should 3d print one myself. :-)
