The new firmware report:

After two flights here is want I have found:

1.  GPS and Compass have not dropped out on either flight.  This was happening on every flight previous to this.  GOOD fix!

2. The folder that appears after you unZip the download has the previous version number on it.  BAD (Amature...Qualtiy Control?)

3. The home point for the RC is drifiting all over the place.  This was not happening before this update.  (Lack of Recurrsion testing)

4. Does not hold NTSC and MOV setting.

I got a critical battery warning at 30 percent. It is set to 10

I guess the good news is that the issues are all Software and Firmware updates and not Hardware.

Fixed: now the limit altitude can't be leave in blank (0), so now it's a real flight limit of 500m max, and can't be avoided. Safe, great!

Did the RC GPS location not wander in previous firmware versions? I noticed this too the other day and definitely don't use the dynamic home point function at the moment. That could lead to a disastrous "return to home" or failsafe condition.
