Should I downgrade my firmware

Just to clarify, what firmware version are you on? Is this right out of the box, or did you notice it after an update?

1.8.10 firmware is what I'm using

Are you flying low or hight when these messages came?  Over 10 meters that could be fixed.

Yep mostly get them after 10m

Do you have any transceivers in sight? If yes then you´ll have many strong EM interferences in this area and you´ll lose connection  to the AC. I have FW 1.8.10 too and don´t have this issue during flight.

I've tried it without my antenna extension in the middle of nowhere and still only got 20 to 30 meters

I have phantom 3 standard new i upgrade then test afer 30m distance and 40m altitute it lost rc signal and come back

Is your phone or tablet mounted to the RC when you see this issue? If so, try taking it out of the mount and moving away from the RC. If that makes a difference check out my post on this.

Try to mount the phone/tablet not above the RC. Place it between you and the AC if you can rebuild the holder.
