So, my mavic started doing this today... This was after the left-right gimbal motor somehow got stuck, but i managed to unstuck it by turning the mavic back on..
I couldn't actually SEE it rotate, so that makes me believe it's something on the software side.

Running latest .550 firmare.

Have you tried calibrating the gimbal?

I did only moments before, when the gimbal was stuck.
May have to try again though.

same thing happened to me last week before i got a signal loss and my drone fell out of the sky. when it happened i landed the mavic, then relaunched it and it was fine

Did you crash the aircraft before?
Please try to do the gimbal calibration then test again.

Crashed it once, but that was about 2/3 months ago, with many successful flights inbetween.
I'll try the gimbal calibration in a sec. Thanks

Please test more to see if the issue persists.

So yesterday evening i did manage to do a gimbal calibration.
The first one, it went only up and down a few times, and then it said it failed.
After that i ran it another time, which was successful. The three i did after that were too.

Hopefully i'll be able to take it out this weekend again, will report back then.
