Is there a way to silence the sounds that are recorded by my phone when taking videos?  I get birds chirps ng and the remote beeping or people passing and speaking. Added ng music to the clip does not eliminate the recorded sounds. Appreciate any suggestions.

If you have iOS devices, you can try this -> If the DJI O/GO4 app is open, then close it. Go to Settings/Privacy. In the list, tap Microphone, slide the ON/OFF slider to the OFF position.

Try recording now and the mic should be OFF/muted....

Have not tested this yet myself.....

Looking at Android now. It looks as if you take microphone permission away from the GO/GO4 app it should do the same -> Close GO/GO4 app and open Settings. Find Application Manager in the list. Scroll down and find DJi GO/GO4 in the list of apps. You'll see storage, data usage, permissions, etc. Tap/select Permissions. Turn OFF the slider for Microphone.


In both cases, this is an all or nothing selection - it's either ON or OFF and you'll need to change the setting to get the feature back...

Forgot to mention that the sound is only recorded with the local cache copy of your videos. The original video recorded to the aircraft SD Card does not have audio....

Thanks DJI-Mindy, a much better solution! DJI GO4 version 4.0.5 added this selection option to record audio on the local cache video recording. Sound is not added to the original recording on the SD Card.
