I´d like to know whether there are two different Mavic drones or depends the range on where you are flying (GPS position)?
Does the Mavic simply lower the transmission power when it is flying in the European region? Or in other words, am I able to fly in the USA longer distances (from homepoint) as in Europe?

The Mavic power output adjusts automatically according to location - which is read from GPS.
In practice the difference in range is not that great and is rather swamped by other factors such as interference from other sources.
Plenty on the CE reduced power are able to go out as far as battery allows in good conditions
