[size=14.6667px]Yesterday I received a used Phantom 2 Vision+ which was supposed to be in a great condition. The quad looks like new, no signs of crashes.. not a single scratch on it. When I power it on, connect to the Phantom network and start the Vision App it shows as connected but only shows wifi signal strengt and extender status. No video from the cam, no GPS (in outside conditions) and the gimbal LED is solid red.

[size=14.6667px]The gimbal centers properly and is controllable from the Tx.

[size=14.6667px]The P2 is recognized from the assistant and I can force-flash updates (already on latest version, but I update anyways.. progress bar goes green and at the end is success). I did a hard reset of the controller and updated again - all well good but no improvement.

[size=14.6667px]Camara is bound and I can ping all the 3 IPs - 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.10.

[size=14.6667px]Checked cables and there is no visible damage and they sit properly on the board.. I believe..

[size=14.6667px]Red tons of forum topics since yesterday but mostly see others report the same issue and there is no clear answer to it - could be a gimbal-board or cables or software issue..

Hello, you wrote you checked cables.
I suppose you checked the gps connector. It might be unplugged.
You just have to remove the top Pv drone cover. This is an easy step.
Note you can have to wait some minutes to get 6-7 satellites.

Your WiFi tansmitter is probably dead, even if it answsers to ping requests.
You are able to fly your drone without video return. You cannot program flights with a defective wifi transmitter, but you should be able to record video / pictures.

Hi, thanks a lot!! I already opened the shell - GPS connector is fine, and the camera actually shows as bound in the app. Many report issues with ribbon cable on the gimbal or gimbal board. The camera doesn't take pics when I press the button on the gimbal.

Hi, many thanks!! Did you have the exact same issue? Gimbal centers and can be operated from the TX? But solid red light and no preview on the mobile? This issue drives me crazy - half of the people say it is wifi module, the other half says - ribbon cable or gimbal board Just don't know. Ordered ribbon cables from Banggood but it will weeks for them to arrive to Europe Just don't know...
