I am one of those that buys a few cheap cables to use in cars for my Iphone I have notice that those cheap cables I would have issues with like pandora selecting sometime not even recongnizing it have to reset I wonder if this might be the reason some people might have issues with there Mavic. Im thinking Of buying apple brand cable for my ipad mini.

Cheap cables can be a real issue . Also decent quality cables can be bad after time . I had 5 cables in a drawer here from older phones and only 2 would work with the Mavic . They all seemed fine when connected to my current phone though .

Always buy the brand when you are dealing with high tech electronics...some OEM use sub-standards manufacturing to cut cost! Always check cable and SD CARD.

It is possible to get a bad cable by all manufacture's. I personally had been using the Cambond Apple MFi Certified 1ft Lightning Cord for my Inspire 1 remotes. It will also work for the Mavic when using the bottom USB port. I like the metal connectors and the fact it is certified material.
I hope this helps you

DJI does, however. Look for an Inspire Lightning cable.

Just have to be careful, some of those cables can be "charging only" vs. real "Data" Cables...
