Odd one. Was out flying at the weekend recorded a few clips. When I put my SD in the laptop there are quite a few clips missing. I initially presumed I'd not pressed record or the signal to record hadn't reached the drone but then I thought I'd check the cache on my phone and shure enough the footage is there that I was expecting.

Anyone had this before?

Its an SD card i've previously used in a go pro so manybe it needs formatting? (which format is best?)

Put the card in the Mavic and format from the App

The only time that happened to me was when the SD card didn't have enough remaining space.

this is a new (but as I say used in my go pro a few times) and empty sandisk ultra plus 32gb card.

Try the solutions below and then try a different SD card and see!

One time I trashed all the videos/photos on my card but forgot to empty the trash, couldn't figure out why my card filled up so fast the next time I flew!  ;)

At least on iOS, a recent new feature allows video to save to the phone when the card is full .

I have seen exactly that happen one time when I shut down the Mavic in a hurry and didn't stop recording. The video file didn't get closed on the Mavic's SD card.
