it would be nice when you can see what the estimate wind speed and direction is in de DJI4 app. (After take-off of course)

Because of the gps correction the Marvic "knows" the speed and direction?

Speed is km/h ...the power of the wind

But How to calculate the speed ??  How to know the speed, without analyser ;)

the mavic can estimate the wind speed by how much power it has to deliver to the motors to maintain position when hovering

Yes that was also my idea. Of course estimation.

But the mavic warn us also for HIGH Wind ....so display the "number" permantly on the screen (if the user wants)
Direction is a smart calculation. There is a motor that needs  the most correction to keep position.

For now I use the UAV FORECAST free app before I fly. it also gives you all kind of stats and recommend flying or not. Amust for any beginner!
