HDR candidate. All but the sky is underexposed. But, I am a total amateur. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.

One hint I saw on a "how to take videos tutorial" is to NOT center the subject.  Move it a bit to one side.  So have the sun a bit left or right of center.

Turning down the exposure / brightness intensifies colors. This was shot at -1.3, iso 100 with P4P+

I would suggest buying some ND filters and using AEB (exposure bracketing) and some HDR software - I use the built in software in Affinity Photo.

An example taken using an ND8 filter from a Neewer 6 piece ND kit:

(And please try to pretend you can't see the slight horizon tilt...)

Mine were by NEEWER - I was a bit worried because they were so cheap - but actually the quality seems excellent, and two of them are polarised which are great when taking footage over water.
Only downside is the lens cover won't fit when they're on the aircraft - but not a big worry.

Strangely though, they don't seem to be available through Amazon at the moment.

Yup.   Move the drone to face not directly into the sun.

Thanks! Sunsets are a challenging case to correctly lit your photos,, but HDR definitely helps.

Hi there, here are a couple of sunset pictures taken with my P3A, on auto and no filter, and processed with Cyberlink's Photo Director.

Here's one I did with my P4P.. One thing I haven't seen anyone here mention is that when you stop down with your camera (set to f11), you can get some pretty neat looking sun rays.. It softens the picture up in the end but still looks awesome! This is one I took the other day looking at the city of Tampa. I didn't have time to mess with autobracketing - but I did the best I could with the RAW file..
