Hello, I am using Phantom 4 since October 2016. I really enjoy in flying, but several times I have noticed on YouTube that it is recommended by DJI to discharge batteries every 15 to 20 cycles down to 8%. I have never found something like this in user manual or on www.dji.com etc.
Beside that I don’t know how to discharge properly? You just put fully charged batteries in bird, start engines and wait until there is 8% and then what? Do I have to turn off the Phantom or it will do by itself?
Thank you and sorry for bad English.

There is no need to do this unless you see that one of the cells is a different voltage to the others.  You don't want to do it frequently.

You can fly it until it auto lands at 10%, but be gentle with the controls for the last bit.  Then just leave it powered on without the motors running down to 8% or 7%.
Alternatively you can have some fun running the simulator until it reaches 8%.

Your English is very good, no need to apologise!
