Just saw a youtube vid of dji goggles on official dji channel
They took it off not sure if it was posted accidentally but look cool.
Compatible with mavic pro woot. Hoping they are not too steep in terms of price.
This is becoming one expensive hobby

Oh wow. I just made a post about the same thing. They took the video down. i think their a little big. could of been way smaller. i mean with the mavic you would want something thats also going to be small and not so bulky. i did notice that in the video that the guy was able to turn the gimbal on the mavic with the goggles. is this going to be a new feature? would be nice to have some movement other than just up and down.

Yeah they do look bulky but it does have hd capabilties so thats a win.
I only got 1 view of it so not too sure on gimbal details but they did mention that you can control the mavic with them in fixed wing mode

Adimavic ,
I have a set of glyphs goggles that are head tracking capable with Litchi , meaning when I put it in Head Tracking mode, immersed mode setting in Litchi I can fly just by moving my head in the direction I want to go it is a totally different experience flying like this, or just have it control the Cam gimbal up or down there is also a little movement for left and right direction all being done by moving my head up down left right it is amazing

RE: Goggles

Not sure of the price, but I was able to try them on in the New York DJI store - there is a demo unit available to look at - check it out if you're in town. Very comfortable, reasonably lightweight. Great screen. They are huge, though, and will be difficult to travel with. It seems they may be available from May.

It's absolutely crazy that they're $449 in the states but £499 in the UK!?

Still - hasn't stopped me placing a pre order!

They're taking them here if UK folks are interested - https://www.heliguy.com/dji-goggles-p4489
