When Crystalsky was announced on DJI's website, the Mavic Pro was included in the list of compatible drones.

Now, as Crystalsky is being released, the Crystalsky site no longer shows the Mavic as being compatible.

WTF!

Is it really that difficult for DJI to manufacture a mount that would hold one on a Mavic controller?

I think it was Mindy who already mentioned that a mount would be released later. Maybe they just didn't want mavic owners to buy it yet to avoid people saying "you said it'd was compatible with the Mavic! It doesn't fit! WTF! You just wanted my money!"

DJI recently announced several new products, so I go click buy now button and low and behold everything I tried to purchase says " out of stock" tell me why every product DJI launches is a friggin train wreck???

The website still shows the Mavic as being compatible and I was advised in another thread that there will be a holder for the Mavic.
Considering the number of 3rd party holders that have appeared on the market, I am sure there will be a variety of holders for the Mavic becoming available.

Any of the after market holders can be used with the Crystalsky...

I won't bother buying CrystalSky as it won't support 3rd party apps.

As far as I can see, CrystalSky is compatible to Mavic Pro:

Where have you seen that it's not? The only thing: it won't fit in the Mavic controller - the CrystalSky Display is to fat :-D

It used to be listed as the first drone in the list of compatible drones. While I'm sure the software would work, I was dismayed when it was no longer listed.

Yeah, I'm sure there would be a third party solution to hold one..... Eventually.

Oke, so we have a website which says it's compatible with the Mavic.
And a manuel who is saying,...NOPE not compatible with the Mavic.

No I really don't... But giving the amount of money you put in this DJI screen, and the impossibility of loading 3rd party apps, I rather stay with my iPad Mini 4 with sun hoods.

No, you can't use those "non DJI" apps on Crystal Sky... and that sucks!

If you read the wording carefully in the manual it states that CS is compatible with controllers that have a USB input, and that is the Mavic Pro. The holder is probably not compatible. But I have a third party holder that should fit.

Crystal sky is possibly the only way to get clean HDMI out from a mavic pro.

The new specifications... somebody know why the 7.85" is not compatible with Mavic and Osmo?

Hey I made this one myself, it can hold pretty much anything that has a flat back.

It seems that the only issue with using the Mavic with the Crystalsky displays is how to mount them.  As far as I can determine the company Evolution 3D has come up with a great solution, and wouldn't have if there was no logical compatibility between the two.  Check out Youtube for at least a couple of reviews on this set-up. 3D printed but apparently with great quality, and tough. Check out the company at Evolution3D.com
