I took some photos with the Dji Mavic Pro, and I noticed that the pictures in  RAW file are only 960x720!!
Why are they so small? Can not you snap to 4000x3000 in DNG?

Assuming 4:3 aspect ratio they should be 3992 × 2992 pixels. No idea why DNG are 8px smaller that jpg versions, but they are.

Look at your import setting. Do you shrink on import?

I think this is just a bug especially with Windows 10. When you export as JPG it will show normal size. It's the same here and nothing is wrong with the RAWs.

Nope,  i did various tests.  If we shoot the photo in Jpeg, the size will be 4000x3000 (4:3) or 3992 x 2242 (16:9).  JPEG photos in Micro sd are of the right format.  I did some tests with drones of friends, always Mavic Pro, but nothing changes. The RAW file's (DNG) are always 960x720.  I think it's something wanted by DJI..

Photomatix works too.
Apparently Windows just misreads the resolution of these DNGs or something. Each DNG has about 20MB worth of data, as a rough average in file size, so that should be plenty of detail for whatever size you want it to be. Photomatix has always spat out gorgeously detailed 4000x3000 JPGs from my Mavic's DNGs, so after a while I just stopped worrying about the apparent resolution in Windows, and had even forgotten it happened entirely until reading this thread.

After you download and install this Adobe codec (and reboot), Windows will begin displaying the correct size of the DNG files.  http://supportdownloads.adobe.co ... 495&fileID=5491

Hello, can you please send the link for the codec because it is not working the above link anymore? Thank you/
