When I use find my drone my Esc beep function is not working. Flash lights function works fine.  Also I get a kind of loud whistle from drone. Not always. PHANTOM 4 BTW. THANKS O TON.

Does it work ok?

Yes everything seems great. Only had for three days but have flown it a lot.

I wouldn't worry about it then. If something were to go wrong with the ESC's it would come up on the screen and give you an ESC warning.

Yeah really seems fine to me. I was just looking over features and noticed that feature wasn't working. Hopefully somebody else is having same issue. Im thinking its software issues as find my drone was recently added.

Are you talking about the startup tune or something else?

No. It's a high pitch whistle when it's flying. Actually flew it today and it seems to have stopped. Maybe weird wind or something yesterday.

Just to clarify, are you referring to the melodic 'chime' that emits from the ESCs when you power it on?

On the phantom pilots forum i found a thread that talked about this same thing. With a video. A lot are experiencing it. Some say normal..... Some say not..

The sound from the motors is normal, especially when you're jerking it around like that.

Okay. It was in Atti mode with slight breeze. How bout find my drone not operating? When I go to find my drone. Both buttons appear. One to make it beep. One to make it flash. The beep button is always grayed out?

My Mavic Pro shows the ESC Beep icon but when I click it, it does nothing.  The flashing lights work though.

Could you happen to provide a screenshot of what you're getting? Could you verify which Go app version you're running?

Go4 here on Android and mine shows the same thing.
