Why does the DJI Go 4 app say it's incompatible with my iPad Mini (iOS 9.3.5)?

It has to be an iPad Mini 2 or later version toe be compatible.

Quick question on your copy-pasta.

It says Samsung S7 is compatible - however the app crashes after 10 minutes or so on my S7 - so what is the min-bar for declaring a device compatible?

You have developer options on and USB debugging enabled?
Can you force stop all other running apps.
And do you have plenty of memory left.

USB debugging isn't enabled when I'm flying - developer mode is on - I'll trun that off as well to see if that helps...

As for other apps - I generally don't have anything else running during flight.

I've switch to an iPad and couldn't be happier (asides from spending the 400+) - I feel (may be subjective) that I get better RC/Video signal when using the iPad.

Try with USB debugging on.
I have a NVIDIA Shield K1 and a few iPads, I pretty much only use the iPads.

Interesting. I'll give that a try - I thought enabling usb-debugging would cause some overhead / issues. I suppose that would be closer to emulating developer environments ... where there are problem no issues ;-)

It should be ok with it on.
