Hey all, how many days do you have your battery set until it starts dis-charging?

I'd leave them discharged after each flight and charge before you fly. Best way to keep them healthy. Overheat seems to be a real issue when flying and the ambient temp is ~100F. Airdata said hit 149F on one of my batteries. Looks like you can add around 50 degrees to the ambient, get a general idea. Max safe temperature is around 140F.

nay, don't worry about it, period! Take a  proactive healthy battery approach. At the end of the day let the batteries cool to room temp. I then charge them until the 4th light on the battery just starts to flash. That is the sweet spot to let them sit, for long periods of time very, very safely! Then fully charge before every flight. I have been using this method for 3 yrs. on 4 batteries and hopefully I will get 3 more yrs. out of them! Safety First! Ken.
