Can anyone advise meas to where i can get a short lead to conect my RC to my ipad mini please ?

The size of iPad mini is too big to Mavic RC, you can only connect it to the USB port which is on the bottom of RC,  the short RC cable is not compatible with the iPad mini.

One that's angled on the lightning end works best, so you'll want something like this. It's inexpensive and the most recent review was apparently written by someone who's using it for his Mavic. Just make sure to order the correct length; that latest review is apparently associated with the 0.5m version.

I would invest in the Skyreat aluminum tablet mount and then also a 1ft Anker lightning cable.  Both on Amazon. Overnight free shipping. 29.99 for the mount and 8 dollars for the cable. Perfect setup.

Drone Valley makes a real nice short iPad mini cable connection to the bottom USB port I use it with my mavic in it works perfect

I got mine from eBay it plugs into bottom USB on rc...7in cable I believe
