Welcome to the DJI Forum.
We are hoping to use this forum to expand our support to all DJI users. We target to build a DJI community, base on this forum with the support from many other multirotor forums and users, to perfect our products.
Please note that use of this website is subject to the rules and regulations below. Please read these rules carefully and ensure all of your activity is in line with them.

Part One: Preamble
DJI community is an innovative platform created by DJI for product information exchange and sharing among the users.
DJI communities will always follow the nature of "respect the dream, pursuit of pure" , the value of this platform is to explore the greatest value and to create the most perfect products and provide the best user experience.
The DJI forums have been created and we thank all of you for being a part of this growing community. In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple principles for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Part Two: Forum General Principles
• Any speech and content posted by the users in the community (including but not limited to text, images, audio, video) shall not violate the relevant provisions of national laws and regulations and DJI forum rules.
• Commercial activities are not permitted on this Forum
• Users shall not post any news which fail to comply with the laws or infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties.
• we will not tolerate rudeness, profanity (or attempts to bypass profanity filters), insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts.
Part Three: Forum Specific Rules
- Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.
- Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts.
- While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, profanity (or attempts to bypass profanity filters), insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts.
- Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, etc.
- Multiple or duplicate posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
- We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate DJI community standards. The DJI team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
- Discussion of illegal activities and intellectual property violations are not allowed.
- Each member is allowed one and only login account.
- We will not tolerate blatant adverts or notices of the competitor’s products.
- We reserve the rights to edit and delete your offensive comment and post.
- Posts arguing about company policies are not allowed. You can fill out a support ticket if you have issue with company policies.
- Posts discussing moderator actions are also not allowed.
- You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.
- Support tickets should be considered to be confidential information. Support tickets posted in the forums will be deleted.
- Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
- We reserve the right to block anyone who willfully violates the forum rules.
- We will collect user profile information, but only keeps for DJI’s use, and will not dis-close to anyone without user’s permission.
- Any user in the forum shall not upload any videos that flying DJI products in high-altitude or in a crowded places.
- If an emergency occurs, DJI is entitled to find the user’s contact information through the Independent search system without prior permission. It is not deemed as violation of privacy.
Links in signatures must keep to these principles
• Linking to a commercial product/service is fine, provided it is not a product or service that competes with a product or service offered by DJI and it is not an affiliate program link for DJI or any other affiliate program.
• Promotional text for a commercial product or service is ok, provided there are no price(s) of product(s) or service(s) listed.
• A link and promotional text for a site that is not commercial and does not contain product(s) and/or service(s) is allowed, provided the site is not sexual or does not violate DJI community standards. The DJI team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards. (Examples include sites about drugs and/or sex.)
• Duplicate links to the same URL in a signature are not allowed.
Advertising Services and Solicitation
• We do not allow people to post threads or to send any private messages or emails to users here that advertise any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and soliciting in signatures is also prohibited. Advertising for competing products is not allowed.
• We do not allow selling DJI installation or upgrade services, as we offer this already, and we can not bear this type of service offered from anyone on the forums because of the potential security problems it brings up. You should never give out your DJI customer number or password to anyone, and you should not disclose server logins and/or passwords to anyone except through the DJI support system. We can not take responsibility if you disclose this information to anyone else.
Avatars
• Avatars that may be confused with public characters are not allowed.
• Animated avatars are not allowed.
• Use of the DJI logo in avatars is not allowed.
Licenses for Sale
We do not allow people to post that are looking to sell or buy a used DJI license.
Affiliate Programs
The DJI affiliate program is designed to allow people to advertise DJI on their web site and earn a commission on all sales generated through that link. You are not allowed to post your affiliate link anywhere on the DJI forums, in your signature or send the link through private messages to other forum users. Anyone that does this may be removed from the affiliate program immediately without notice. This rule applies to all affiliate program links, not just the DJI program.
Signature Size Limits
All signatures should not exceed the following limits
• You can't have both text and images in your sig
• For text signatures: 4 lines normal size, 8 lines small size and up to 90 chars per line. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed. (Blank lines count as lines.)
• Do not use images with large text to bypass the previous item
• For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and 20k in size
• Animated images in a signature are not allowed
We also have some rules that apply for certain forums
Reporting a suspected pirated copy of DJI
Please do not post suspected copies of DJI on these forums. If you suspect that a forum is using an illegal copy of DJI, please email the full URL to the forums (not the site's home page) to http://www.DJI.com.
All sites sent to this address will be added to our anti-piracy database and will be investigated. The name of the person submitting the report will always remain confidential.
We will be unable to respond with whether this site is properly licensed or not, or our actions, for privacy reasons.
Hosting Forum
• The hosting forum is for discussion of hosts and hosting options for DJI customers. Advertising of hosting services is not allowed. This includes any host or anyone with a financial interest in or a partnership relationship with a host from replying to questions or requests regarding hosting services. Any posts violating this rule will be removed.
• Because of the high rate of software piracy on 'free' hosts, discussion and questions regarding free hosting services are not appropriate for this forum. Please feel free to use this forum to discuss paid hosting services.
• The hosting forum cannot be used to promote specific hosts. We will moderate posts and users continuing to excessively promote or advertise any hosts. Anyone abusing this will lose their right to post in this forum.
Third-Party Disputes and Customizations
We will not mediate third-party disputes due to third-party purchases. Third-party purchases include styles, addons, custom programming and modifications, pay-per-post services, purchasing second-hand licenses, moderation fees, advertising fees or any product not directly purchased from DJI. Purchasing these items from another company is done at your own risk. If you have an issue with a third-party regarding their support or conduct then you will need to handle it through the means they provide. Any such threads on this topic will be closed.
We cannot provide support for third-party customizations. This includes contract programming, purchased or free styles, or modifications downloaded from http://www.vbulletin.org.
Chit Chat forum
The Chit Chat forum is where DJI owners and fans can gather to chat about almost anything, technical or non-technical in nature. If you have a question that doesn't fit into any other forum, or just want to chat, this is the place.
Staff Disputes
Any disputes with the staff of the DJI Community Forums will be handled in private through the Private Message System or the Support System ticket. If you wish to escalate any issue with staff then please visit: www.DJI.com.
Part Four: Limitation of liability
Although the administrators and staffs of DJI Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of DJI Community Forum, nor DJI will be held liabilities for the content of any message. Use of the forum is at your own risk.
By agreeing to these rules, you should warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, sexually-oriented, uncourteous, threatening, vulgar, or otherwise violation of any laws.
Also the owners of DJI Community Forum reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason without any liabilities.
A prior notice will be posted in the forum if there is a system maintenance or upgrades. DJI will not responsible for ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, OF ANY KIND, DIRECT OR INDIRECT, IN CONNECTION WITH OR ARISING FROM HARDWARE FAILURE OR FORCE MAJEURE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, COMPENSATORY, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
Part Five: Miscellaneous
The DJI forum is fully run and owned by DJI and we reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of this community.
Part Six: Username update
To better protect forum user's privacy, DJI forum is now upgrading its system. Your user ID may change following these rules,
1. If you never set a user name since registration, your user name will be displayed as "fans + a random number" now;
2. If you set a user name, but the user name is the same with your forum-registered email's pre-fix, for examplle, you set your user name as Jone_Doe while your email is Jone_Doe@website.com, your user name will also be changed to "fans + a random number" also.
You can change your user name in the "Setting" in your Personal Homepage.
Part Seven: Posting product issues
To ensure all legitimate product issues are being handled by DJI Support the following rules will now apply to thread creation:
1) If a new thread is created by a member of the forum regarding an issue that requires the issuance of an RMA or Case number, those numbers and all other relevant information (eg. flight logs) will need to be posted as a response to the stickied mega thread (to be linked shortly)
a) When posting in the mega thread, make sure to include a link to the main thread containing the issue as a reference
b) If your issue is a reply to a thread, include a link to the thread as well as your post number
2) If this information is not provided within 5 days, the thread will be deleted.
3) Updates to the original thread will be added to the body as issues are resolved.
4) If you are experiencing an issue that another user is already posted, please post your issue as a reply to that thread and follow rule 1a.
a) Posting an issue as a reply to a thread will reset the 5-day deletion counter
These rules are subject to change to better suit the community and the nature of the issues.
