Hello everyone,

First time flights today, newest firmware on RC and Phantom 4.  
Please can anyone advise how I stop the lagging on my video recordings.
I'm using a Samsung Tab S as I don't own any apple equipment.  Everything works great and is so easy to fly (not my first drone).  But i cant use my footage as it is stuttering/lagging badly.  

I am giving up on my Hubsan h501s as I am fully disgusted with their support. I am ready to purchase a DJI 3 advanced. Love everything about it EXCEPT the no fly problem. I am in full agreement on limiting access to Class B and C airports. However, DJI is including Class D airports. That is a major problem as I live in the 5 mile radius of a Class D airport that is listed on DJI's no fly list.

The problem is that the FAA allows flight within the 5 mile radius of a Class D airport provided you inform the airport of your flight plan and obey any restrictions they impose. I regularly fly my current drone within the 5 mile radius. I just call the airport, let them know I am flying away from the center of the airport and will not exceed 400 feet and I get the ok.

If I can't do that, it makes no sense to purchase one as I am only 1.5 miles from the center of the airport and my favorite topographical features are within the 5 mile radius. I think DJI has gone overboard on this one without understanding the nuances of FAA regulations or airport class designations. This will have to affect sales as there are a tremendous amount of Class D airports out there that allow drone flying within their airspace.  I am really saddened by this as I think DJI has the best product out there and I am willing to shell out the dollars for a top of the line drone.

I have send an email to online sales@dji.com for clarification about Class D airports but they have not replied. I thought I would get better service than this.

Here is my first post to the official forum, despite my new phantom 4 being quite possibly my 7th or 8th DJI craft by this point in the game.  After having essentially no problems with products ranging from my phantom one to my inspire one, including the S800, S900,and two S1000's along the way and never needing to rely on outside assistance to resolve problems I may have encountered, my next addition the Phantom 4 is giving me a headache and I have nowhere else to turn, so I hope this forum can assist me in getting everything working properly since there's no way my new P4 should have video link issues after traveling a total of ten feet from the remote control....something is amiss here and hopefully the answer lies within these pages!

R u trying to play back on your ipad? The video is stored on the phantom, i think ipad may have a lower quality copy (i own the advanced which is a bit different).. Anyhow, in order to get my movies off, I insert the sdcard from the phantom camera, move it to my pc and work on it there. If you do want to edit on your ipad, using the dji app, the drone does need to be on in order for the editor to have access to the full quality video file.
Is this sort of what you were asking?
