You know, you are near the top of the brands you can get in vehicles, but take solice in the fact that you at least have a brand you can upgrade to.  When you finally move up, I will say I told you so!

Yeah yeah yeah...  You can have your paddle shifters.  Back in 2005, they were all the rage.  Now days, no one wants them anymore.  This is why I want my 911R as it is built to be enjoyed.  

All the 911R's were sold recently even before the first one was built.  So, in my logic, I will get one off a lease and not pay full price anyway.  Sounds smart, right?  Except the $200K car (Assuming $184K base price, but in a Porsche, you need to buy the steering wheel and the seats practically so base price + $30K is pretty typical and you can get pretty crazy and probably go +$50K or more if that is how you roll)) is now $700K resale value.  They shot up like a rocket overnight.  I knew it was going to be popular, but not that popular.  

Porsche has since learned an education in that the people that want to buy such a car want a drivers car and will happily shed a 10th of a second to 60 in trade for a manual and clutch.  for 2017, they brought back the manual for the GT3 finally.  This is probably what I will end up with when I do go to buy another, but it is low on the priority list.  I think I want an aircraft is why.

The Merc Awesome drivers use to SLOW MO pass the PORSHA people and and then use this to accelerate and make them wash their car again after the woooosh {:4_181:}

That looks like a lot of fun. Sign me up ... to watch someone do that.

The only Porsche I own that is an automatic you would be hard pressed to use your pinky to make a gear shift.  That would require a lot of extra effort.

I know, you keep trying, but you might as well give up.  Sooner or later you will realize you need to step up your game and get out of a passenger car and buy a real race car.

Watched the vid and that thing is way beyond my truck.

I do like this truck though.  Had a 5.7 RAM for a few weeks recently and it had a remarkable amount of power and I liked it.  My only complaint was that the controls are not very well thought out or placed.  The turn signal was too far back to use effectively as an example.  The control placement needs to be rethought at Dodge.

And quit reminding me.  I probably will never have one at that price.  How does one justify it?

Note that this is not the only Porsche I have been after that I didn't manage to get.  I was after a Transyberria at one time too and couldn't find one.

This I think is what is required next.  It has been some time since I took ground school so I am now back in it.  I can do 200 MPH all day long in that without getting a ticket.  This will happen before I buy another car.

I just got back from a drive.  I took the slow Porsche, which even though it is slow, since Merc's are capped back at 155 MPH (Some cheat and do 156 or 157) the slowest Porsche is still faster than the fastest Merc.

I am going to do some photographs of that one for Skunkwerks to show what tricks it has up its sleeve.

             Hunting , checking under all the bridges in my area and didn't find any.
             But I did come across creepers there under the bridges in the tight dark
             spots you can see there eyes glowing, they keep guard while the Trolls are
             out shopping for black Mercedes lolllllllllll
