1, 6, or 8,  is what I would do for regular daily use. Pelican or other watertight hardcase for rugged travelling where water and droppage could be a legit issue

Ha, yes it does. I got the combo kit with that case and it's terrible, I don't even use it. I have a small backpack that works great. I'll probably get a couple small cases to put the drone and controller in, then put that in my pack. I like the pack so I can wear it while hiking along.

Nanuk 920 hard case. Laser cut, fits the 5 in one charger too.

I use the Mavic Pro Tom Case. Holds all parts of the fly more combo. Really nice case!
