When my inspire 2 with x5s is on the ground I can touch the screen and move the gimble with my finger in any direction, When I am in the air and touch the screen it will only tilt up or down.  Is there a way to control the camera by touch while flying like I can when it is on the ground?

I know I can control it with the C1 button.  What I am trying to figure out is why I lose touch control when it is in the air?

Gimbal needs to be in free mode in order for this to work, in follow mode camera always points in direction of aircraft and can only be tilted up and down...

I thought I tried it both ways.  I will try it in free mode today and post the results.
