Camera connection problems

I have a DJI P3 Advanced and have upgraded the camera to the 4K.  Everything worked well for awhile, however, now I'm getting some erratic issues like no camera signal and severe signal interference.

The aircraft has the latest firmware upgrade for the P3 Pro, note that I uploaded pro software because I now have a 4K camera.  


I do remember that when I loaded the new firmware for the P3 Pro I received a momentary flash notice that the controller firmware needed upgrading and before I could get to it disappeared.  So I'm suspicious that the controller and the aircraft have a mismatch of software.

The aircraft has P3X_FW_V01.10.0090.bin and the controller says it has V3.1.5

I've tried clearing out the controller memory per online instructions so that it could be loaded again but even after doing this I still see the same firmware listed.

The controller won't accept the data off of the SD card when I place the new bin file in the root directory of the card and re-start it.


Any suggestions??

im in a similar boat. My gimbal starts correctly acts normal then goes limp any chance you have heard of that? im flying a phantom 3 4k

I believe v3.1.5 would be the Go app version and not the RC. When you just connect the RC to the Go app (aircraft off) what RC firmware does it say it has in the About page? You should be looking for a version like v1.8. Just to clarify, what firmware version was your P3A running when it still had the 2.7K camera on it?

Your aircraft is a bit different of his, so I would recommend starting your own thread on this. When you do, it would be preferred to mention whether you've swapped out any components recently, or if this happened after any firmware updates or hard landings.

I have the same issue how's possible that we have to pay for their mistakes a lot of people with the same problem

Could you happen to provide your case number so I can look into it? Just to clarify, are they billing you because they indicated that it was due to Litchi?

im sorry I never saw this before but no they are not billing me because of litchi they are billing me because they can not find a cause for why the drone dropped and called it pilot error.

I have just switched  on my pp3 for the first time in a while.says connected  but wont show view from camera keeps coming up as djigo app stopped working
